Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines: Story Line. Following his heroics in saving the world from Judgment Day, John Connor has now chosen to live in secret, avoiding anything that Skynet may track him down with. That is, until he comes face to face with T-X, a robotic assassin tasked with completing the mission that T-1000 began. Because Connor's old adversary, the Terminator, has returned to assist the now-adult Connor... just as he promised in the Decker Shado last episode.
Whether you like him or not, James Cameron is one of those Hollywood people who has a little respect for the material. Because he didn't think there was anything else to do with Terminator 2 after that, the studio found a couple of people who did and had them write the next one. So Arnold Schwarzenegger is still in it. If no one had watched it, no one would have even bothered to watch it.
